So hard to believe Kesley is 6 months old already. She is doing great and is soaking up everything she sees around her. I can already tell, well actually, when she was in the womb I could tell, she is going to be a feisty/dramatic little thing =) We all love her to pieces and enjoy every minute of her!!!
- Kelsey currently weighs 17lbs 15oz (80%) and is 26.75" (80%)
- She is still wearing size 3 diapers and 6 months (some 9 months) clothing.
- Nursing usually every 2.5-3.5 hours during the day. She's been getting up only once to nurse at night, so I want to make sure she gets enough milk during the day.
- She goes to bed at night around 6-6:30 PM and gets up in the morning around 8-8:30 AM.
- I have been trying to get her to take 3 good naps during the day, but sometimes she'll make one or two naps super short, so she'll have take 4 naps.
- Kelsey has discovered her hair and while she nurses, she'll grab it and pull it over and over (or until I stop her).
- Just started solids. I'm skipping cereal and oatmeal and going straight to veggies and fruit. So far she's had sweet potatoes, peas, pears and carrots. Delaney has been a great helper with making Kelsey's food.
- Rolls all over both ways. She's not sitting on her own yet but is trying really hard to crawl.
- No longer uses the swing and rarely sits in her rocker chair. She is wanting to be on the move. Sometimes I can get her to lay in the pack in play with some toys.
- She loves being in her jumper.
- DEFINITELY a vocal little girl! Whether she's "talking", screeching or crying, it's LOUD.
- Has the saddest bottom lip pouty cry when she gets upset =(
- No teeth yet....I think soon though. She has really been gnawing on her fingers and anything she can get to her mouth.
- Of course she LOVES watching big sister Delaney do anything.
