Months ago Delaney went about a week wearing underwear. When she had a couple #2 accidents, I said NO WAY and put her back in diapers. She had NO problem with #1 on the toilet, it was #2 that was an issue (I have since learned this is very common). I figured after our San Diego trip in June, we would try the underwear thing again. Well on May 25, 2011, she took her diaper off and said she didn't want to wear them anymore and put on a pair of underwear. I wasn't going to tell her no, so I went with it. We would ask her every morning about going #2, put a diaper on her, change her, then put her back in underwear for the rest of the day. We had been doing that for a month. Last night at Walmart she came across a Stawberry Shortcake remote control car she really liked. We told her that if and when she went #2 on the toilet, we would get it. No joke, within 10 minutes of being home, she went #2 on the toilet!!! Yes, we went back to Wolly World and got her that car!!! We are SO proud of her.
