fire station

Mark went back to work yesterday after having 3 weeks off. Yes, we are all spoiled!!! I knew it would probably be hard for Delaney because she became used to him being home. I made sure that we made it to the station so that she would see him at some point yesterday. When we arrived to the station, they were out on a call. We hung out for an hour waiting for them to get back. Surprisingly, we both did really well keeping busy/entertained while we waited. We walked around, Delaney jumped on Daddy's bed, she played with "Jr. Firefighter" stickers I found, she ate her snacks, I pushed her around in a chair......you get the point. This morning, Mark received a call for overtime, and with us just getting back from vacation, it was an offer he could not resist. We packed up and made a little trip to visit him again this morning. He was at a different station, with different trucks. The truck in the pictures below is of an OLDER fire truck that Peoria uses for parades, shows, etc.
